CSS150 - Customer Service and Ethics

Many careers involve an element of customer service, whether the customers are internal or external. This course explores the connection between self-awareness and communication styles to the ability to develop interpersonal relationships with customers and others. Students focus on topics pertaining to the achievement of equity in various social and work settings, including, but not limited to, race, gender, ethnicity and social orientations. This course enables students to identify possible strategies for empowerment in the workplace and identify ethical guidelines for decision making and behaviour.
