This course builds on the foundation established by course FF310 - Introduction to Stock Market Investing. It will focus on generating investment returns primarily using stocks, Exchange Traded Funds (ETF's) and options. You will learn how to evaluate investments using basic fundamental and technical analysis, with an emphasis on generating income and capital gains. The course will cover creating a personal investment strategy and incorporating these strategies within the broader context of an existing personal portfolio. This course will provide you the tools and knowledge to use more advanced techniques and apply them appropriately to your own investment portfolios. Note, approximately half of the course is dedicated to options trading.
