Students, through this course, will learn about the detailed and lengthy process a company must go through when it decides to offer its shares to institutional and individual investors. They will be made aware of the benefits and responsibilities that come with the decision to go public, of the nine steps involved in the process, and of the participants who make it happen. They will learn about and have the opportunity to practice, some of the investor communications activities involved in introducing the company to investors.
