This course provides students with strategic leadership skills through the lens of IT and modern technology platforms including cloud platforms. It will help students to focus on critical thinking while developing the technology strategy to ensure the overall technology direction enhances the competitive advantage of the organizations.
Students will gain relationship building skills on how to establish relationships with various stakeholders to evaluate business needs, and as strategic leaders to ensure the technology strategy and roadmap aligns with that of the various business units and the organization's strategy. Students will also gain communication, risk, and conflict management skills.
This course will help you to fine tune your strategic thinking skills to enable you to achieve superior results as an IT leader within an organization. The course is experiential, focused on projects and case studies, focusing not as much on the theories of leadership but their application.
