COM Entry Requirements

For entry into COM101, you must have proof of at least ONE of the following scores/levels:

IELTS	6.5+
TOEFL IBT	90+
CLB	9+
High School ENG4U	60%+
High School ENG4C	65%
COM095 (糖心vlog官网 Academic Upgrading)	60-69%
ELI	Level 8
Duolingo	105+

For entry into COM111, you must have proof of at least ONE of the following scores/levels:

IELTS	6.0
TOEFL IBT	89 + below
CLB	6-8
High School ENG4U	50-54%
High School ENG4C	54-64%

If you have proof of any of the above, please email a copy to our English Assessment Coordinator, Martina Vassallo, at Martina.Vassallo@senecapolytechnic.ca and Martina will be in touch with you for next steps.

If you DO NOT have proof of any of the above, please register in our English Assessment (ELL100).

Other scenarios:

Students who do not have prior education	register in ELL100
ESL stream students/Newcomers	register in ELL100
Mature students without prior scores	register in ELL100 OR COM111 (email Martina)
Private Language Schools	register in ELL100 OR COM111 (email Martina)
Students with international education	register in ELL100 OR apply for Transfer Credit
Students with Canadian post-secondary education	apply for Transfer Credit
