We Love Our Students Month

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s employee giving initiative, Campaign for Students, culminates in We Love Our Students Month, every February.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our employees, we’re proud to announce theÌý2024-25ÌýCampaign for StudentsÌýraised a remarkableÌý$282,685Ìýin support of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø students!

A special thank you to ourÌýpayroll championsÌý— employees who give through ongoing payroll contributions. Their continuous support provides essential foundational assistance and has a lasting impact.

We're proud to spotlight theÌýtop threeÌýfundraising eventsÌýthat united our ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø community through creativity, teamwork, and generosity:

  • the ITS Used Hardware Sales raised $77,273 – hosted by Information Technology ServicesÌý
  • the Online Auction raised $22,501 – hosted by ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Business
  • Honey Sales raised $5,000 – courtesy of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s beekeepers

Every dollar you give goes directly to supporting our students. Donor funds are never spent on administrative costs or expenses.

The choice is completely yours, and there are many options. For example, you can direct your gift to the Campaign for Students Endowment that funds bursaries for students in each faculty. Other options include the student experience fund, areas of greatest need or various named awards. List of available fund designations.

Yes. Tax receipts are issued for all donations of $20 and above.

  • Online donations: a digital tax receipt will be sent by email
  • Cash or cheque: a paper tax receipt will be sent by mail
  • Payroll donations: reflected in Box 46 of your T4 tax slipÌý

Yes, you can opt out from being publicly recognized. For instructions on how to remain anonymous, emailÌýadvancement@senecapolytechnic.ca.
