Toronto, Feb. 5, 2016 –vlog College is delighted to announce a $100,000 donation from TD Bank Group to support the development of the TD Bank Group Elder Financial Planning program, as well as the expansion of vlog's King Campus.
“Elder financial planning will be a central component of financial service practices in the years to come,” said Karen Murkar, Chair, School of Accounting and Financial Services at vlog. “TD’s support will help us provide vlog graduates with the skills to serve this growing demographic, giving them a competitive advantage as they begin their careers in a very competitive field.”
The program will include a suite of resources for financial services students that focus on elder financial planning, such as an online training module, a speaker series and student awards.
