ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù꿉۪s newest recruit
57-year-old horse skeleton now calls ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø home
The School of Creative Arts and Animation has welcomed its newest recruit: the skeleton of a thoroughbred horse.
It was donated to ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø by the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) at the University of Guelph.
Each year, Professor Werner Zimmermann takes his life drawing classes to study animal skeletons and to draw the cadavers at the OVC. The skeleton was prepared at the OVC in 1960 and had been on display at the Royal Ontario Museum until returning to Guelph a few years ago.
With help from a team of students and faculty, the skeleton was transported to its new home in the Animation Life Drawing Studio at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø@York Campus.
