StingDome ready for action
The area of Finch Avenue and Highway 404 changed dramatically this weekend.
The StingDome, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø's new seasonal dome, was inflated for the first time on Saturday and now covers the multi-purpose artificial turf field at Newnham Campus.
It took two weeks and nearly 60 people to install the dome, which is now undergoing the finishing touches inside. The StingDome was made possible by Student Athletic Association funding and through the support of the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program. The dome will open for student use next month, while the official dome launch is planned for the new year.
