ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø receives $4.7 million for King Campus
Funding to reduce greenhouse gas emissions on campus
Last Friday, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø President David Agnew announced the Government of Ontario is investing $4.7 million in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø through an Innovation Grant Fund.
As part of the Greenhouse Gas Campus Retrofits Program (GGCRP), funding will go towards a geothermal retrofit at King Campus, which will reduce greenhouse gas emissions at Garriock Hall by more than 50 per cent.
Minister of the Environment and Climate Change, local (Newmarket-Aurora) attended the event along with the Mayor of King Township, Steve Pellegrini. Ballard also spoke at the event and received a tour of King Campus.
