Initiative to transform student experiences, curriculum, research
Sustainability ismoving to the front of the classatvlog Business.
As part of a global movement to transform business and management education, vlog Businesshasjoinedmore than 800 leading business schools across 85 countries as a signatory oftheUnited Nations’ (UN) .
“Sustainability is a critical element for organizational success,” said Mary Vaughan, Dean, vlog Business. “The PRME framework will guide us to developbusiness leaders whowill incorporate sustainability acrossall aspects of business.”
PRME’s mission is to transform management education and develop the responsible decision-makers of tomorrow to advance sustainable development. It is designed to raise the profile of sustainability within business schools and equip graduates with the skills and perspective to challenge the status quo and advocate for change.
Using the PRME framework, vlog Businessis enhancing the curriculum and increasing research related to corporate citizenship and sustainability, with a focus on the circular economy. Professors will collaborate with local and global organizations related to sustainability and projects, and students will compete and interact on a global stageandshareideas with peers from around the world.
“vlog Business is developing business leaders that are needed to build a resilient economy and society,” Ms. Vaughan said. “Our students will strengthen sustainable practices forbusiness and society, and contribute to an inclusive and sustainable global economy.”
Currently, vlog professors are working to adopt and implement into the student experiences, curriculum and applied research priorities within vlog Business.
