The University of Gloucestershire is an Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) recognized institution for provincial student funding.

Students admitted to the University of Gloucestershire from vlog will be eligible to receive relevant International Awards. These awards, and the ruling terms and conditions, are subject to change on an annual basis. Please note that grant awards and scholarships are made as tuition fee discounts, and only one award per student can be granted. For September 2024 entry the applicable awards are as follows. Similar awards are expected to be offered for 2025/26 entry:

vlog students studying a full University of Gloucestershire (UoG) undergraduate or postgraduate taught course (no Accreditation of Prior Learning [APL]/transfer credit/top-ups), who meet the criteria will be eligible to apply for the International Undergraduate or Postgraduate Scholarship (IUS or IPS). The scholarship requires a separate application. If awarded a scholarship, the student will not then receive any grant award, as only one financial award is permitted per student per degree program. Progression Partner Grant Award: £5,000 is automatically applied against tuition for successful applicants from vlog applying to transfer on a formally mapped undergraduate progression pathway. Please note that the grant is only available to students who are studying full time at the University of Gloucestershire on campus in the United Kingdom and completing at least one full year/two semesters of study with intention of graduating with an undergraduate degree (not available for distance learning or postgraduate students). Please see other terms and conditions on the .

International Grant Award: £1,500 is automatically applied against tuition for successful applicants from vlog (e.g. students transferring outside of a formal pathway and postgraduate students). Please note that the bursary is only available to students who are studying full time at the University of Gloucestershire on campus in the United Kingdom, completing at least one full year/two semesters of study with intention of graduating with a degree (not available for distance learning or Master's Stage students). Students who complete an undergraduate degree and continue directly into a masters (postgraduate) degree will get the Alumni Award, which is a 15 per cent discount on tuition — that’s a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in just two years.

International students are offered guaranteed accommodation in Halls of Residence, or can choose to rent private accommodation, with the support of the University’s student services.


Degree: B.Sc. (Hons) Computing (Level 6)

Graduates with a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale will be eligible to apply for entry into the third year (final year, also called “Level 6”) of the Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree program in Computing. International students must demonstrate and provide evidence that they have attained a level of English equivalent to IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in writing. Alternative English language qualifications can be found at . Canadian nationals are not currently required to submit evidence for immigration (see UKVI guidance on the Student Route Visa), however they must still demonstrate passing Grade 11/12 level English language for entry to any undergraduate degree program. Degree: BA (Hons) Animation

Graduates with a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale will be eligible to apply for entry into the third year (final year, also called “Level 6”) of the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree program in Animation. International students must demonstrate and provide evidence that they have attained a level of English equivalent to IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in writing. Alternative English language qualifications can be found at . Degree: BA (Hons) Graphic Design, BA (Honours) Visual Communication (Level 6)

Graduates with a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale will be eligible to apply for entry into the third year (final year, also called “Level 6”) of the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree program in Graphic Design or the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree program in Visual Communication (Level 6). International students must demonstrate and provide evidence that they have attained a level of English equivalent to IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in writing. Degree: MA Communications, PR and the Media

Graduates with a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale will be eligible to apply for entry into the Master’s Stage (dissertation stage) of the Masters of Arts degree program in Communications, PR and Media. International students must demonstrate and provide evidence that they have attained a level of English equivalent to IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in all components. This pathway is offered as a distance learning study option. There is only a January entry point for the pathway, with completion of the dissertation due in early September.

The University of Gloucestershire is an OSAP recognized institution for provincial student funding. No grants or scholarships are available for the completion of the Master’s Stage award.
