- “Psychologists and psychological associates are trained in the assessment, treatment and prevention of behavioural and mental conditions” (College of Psychologists of Ontario).
- Psychological associates (and psychologists) must complete mandatory Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- All applicants must apply for a certificate of supervised practice before applying for a certificate of autonomous practice (also applicable to psychologists).
