While completing my program, I had the opportunity to chat with a peer who was slightly ahead of me in terms of completion. She shared valuable insights about the benefits of continuing my education to further advance my career, as well as the numerous bridging programs and partnerships that ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø has established with universities and other educational institutions.
How did your ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø diploma prepare you for your degree at McMaster University?
It served as excellent preparation for my Bachelor of Technology at McMaster. It offered a solid foundation in various technical aspects such as design, the strength of materials, hydraulic engineering topics and more. The classes at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø provided valuable technical information that proved to be incredibly useful when I encountered advanced coursework in my university program. I often refer back to my ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø materials at the beginning of my university classes to support my studies.
How was your transition from a diploma to a degree? What are some of the differences?
The transition was very smooth. While the difficulty level was slightly higher and required more independent study, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø provided solid preparation that minimized the challenges. Overall, my diploma adequately prepared me to handle the increased demands of university coursework without experiencing significant struggles.
What advantages did you see in having both a diploma and a degree?
I believe having both a degree and a diploma has greatly benefited my field experience.
