My journey with ����vlog���� was inspired by my father, an entrepreneur whose passion for solving complex problems and building solutions ignited my own curiosity. Watching him navigate the autonomy of running a business and create opportunities for others to grow in their careers deeply influenced my path, shaping my desire to break down challenges and develop impactful solutions of my own. Enrolling in the Business Administration – Management program felt like a natural evolution. Little did I know it would be the foundation for a lifelong connection to learning, growth, and community.

The fact that I chose to pursue my diploma, degree and graduate certificate all at ����vlog���� is a testament to the incredible experience I had. From the moment I stepped on campus, the environment was transformative. Professors who challenged us to think critically, classmates who became lifelong friends, and opportunities to immerse myself in both academic and real-world experiences made my time unforgettable.

One of my most cherished memories was being a Student Ambassador under the guidance of Shivani Naidoo, Associate Director of Student Recruitment. She entrusted me with leading campus tours — a role that allowed me to combine my student experience with my passion for helping others. After one particular campus tour, I received feedback that prospective students enjoyed the experience and were excited for the next step in their journey. This memory stands out to me because, without Ms. Naidoo’s guidance, I might never have developed my public speaking skills or gained the confidence to speak comfortably before crowds. It was also during this moment that I realized one of my core values — being of service to those around me.

The relationships I built continue to enrich my personal and professional life. From classmates to professors, my ����vlog���� network remains an invaluable source of support, insights and inspiration.

My role as a Student Ambassador helped uncover and refine many hidden talents. I gained confidence in my presentation and public speaking abilities, which transformed my approach to communication. This experience opened the door to working with the Office of the Registrar where I honed my tactical skills under the guidance of Sabrina Dat, Transfer Credit & Graduation Systems Officer. Her mentorship was pivotal in developing my problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking and process-building expertise — skills that have continued to shape my professional growth.

Transitioning from a diploma to a degree was seamless thanks to the support of ����vlog����’s faculty and my peers. Each program enriched my skill set in unique ways. My diploma instilled concrete, practical abilities, while my degree offered a deeper understanding of processes and strategy. This blend of skills has made me adaptable across diverse industries, enabling me to pivot and thrive in roles ranging from tech startups to global recruitment firms.

I was part of the first students to embark on the newly launched pathway. From engaging in information sessions to collaborating with my colleagues, there was an abundance of resources and support available to guide the journey.

100 per cent — I personally believe my diploma equipped me with practical, concrete skills that I continue to rely on in my career to this day, and my degree provided me with the ability to think critically and strategically. It helped me understand the "why" behind my actions and how laying a solid foundation ensures everything else falls into place.

����vlog����’s emphasis on real-world application, especially through co-op opportunities, was instrumental. It gave me the confidence to navigate the workforce and leverage my education to stand out in competitive environments.

Do it! It’s a decision you won’t regret. ����vlog���� has designed its programs to be incredibly beneficial, providing real-time industry knowledge and hands-on learning experiences. The co-op component is a standout feature, allowing you to apply what you’ve learned in real-world scenarios while gaining valuable experience that sets you apart in the workforce. Completing a degree not only deepens your understanding of your field but also equips you with the tools and confidence to navigate your career with a competitive edge.

Staying connected to the ����vlog���� community is deeply personal for me. My journey in business management laid the groundwork for my passion for marketing — a field I initially hesitated to pursue because it was deemed “too competitive”. Yet, following my passion has led me to incredible opportunities, including receiving Drake International’s October Individual Recognition Award and speaking at a HEART/NSTA Trust divisional session in Jamaica.

I hope my story inspires others to trust their journey and pursue their dreams, even in the face of doubt. ����vlog���� gave me the tools to embrace challenges, evolve, and contribute meaningfully to the world around me.

I define success as living with purpose — aligning my faith, values, and passions to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. It's about embracing continuous growth, whether by mastering new skills, navigating challenges, or evolving both personally and professionally. Success also involves fostering authentic relationships, prioritizing health and well-being, and creating balance in all aspects of life.

Over time, my definition of success has evolved. Early in my career, success was measured by tangible achievements — earning promotions, gaining recognition, and reaching specific milestones. As I’ve grown, I’ve come to see success as the ability to inspire and uplift others, contributing to their journeys while staying true to my own. It's no longer just about personal accomplishments but about the legacy I leave behind —making a difference, however small, and ensuring that those I encounter are better off because of our connection. Success, to me, is rooted in service, purpose, and the joy of living a life aligned with my core values.

I'm currently focused on advancing my career as a marketer in the recruitment industry, where I’m passionate about building impactful employer branding strategies and humanizing the talent experience. At the same time, I’m preparing to take over my family’s business, a full-circle moment, as it was the reason I pursued my business education. I'm also pursuing career-driven designations in project management, marketing and AI mastery to strengthen my ability to lead complex initiatives across both corporate and entrepreneurial spaces. These goals reflect my commitment to legacy, leadership, and lifelong growth.
