Ա’s Career Recharge, presented by TD, has partnered with HELIX venture to offer participants the opportunity to watch a live virtual reality mock interview from home — free of charge.
In the most recent session, participants learned tips and best practices on interviewing from Karen Simpson, Senior Strategic Talent Acquisition Partner from TD. One of the key takeaways from Ms. Simpson’s seminar was that it can take up to 200 hours to get really good at a skill, and interviewing is no different.
Thanks to a $1-million grant from the TD Ready Challenge, Ա’s CareerRechargeoffers a series of free workshops, events and mentorship opportunities to help mid-careerprofessionals cope withan evolving workplace and keep pace with changes in technology.
vlog students can watch similar demonstrations conducted using InStage technology by scheduling a virtual appointment with vlog Works. Once back on campus, students can practise their interview skills and have them assessed in real time with InStage’s virtual reality headsets.
