About the Program

In this eight-month certificate program, you will learn the skills necessary for success as an independent musician. Guided by professionals who are active in the industry, you will gain hands-on experience in home-based recording, music production and distribution and songwriting. You will also be taught business and entrepreneurial skills.

Program and Course Delivery

This program is offered in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø's hybrid delivery format. Some coursework is online and some must be completed in person. Students will need to come on campus to complete in-person learning requirements.

Taylor is a self-taught guitar player and vocalist from Toronto. Realizing a passion and unique sound, she became entrenched in the musical arts and attended ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø to develop her craft. In 2011, she was awarded a grant from FACTOR (The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings) to produce her first demo CD calledÌýWake Up.
