As a graduate, you will be prepared to reliably demonstrate the ability to:

  • Collaborate with estheticians, medical estheticians, and other medical practitioners to enhance personal work performance and improve client care.Ìý
  • Adhere to relevant health, safety, sanitation, infection, and prevention control guidelines, according to current federal, provincial regulations and industry standards when administering protocols applicable to medical esthetics and injectables.

  • Apply anatomical, physiological, and histological knowledge to the development and delivery of medical esthetics treatments and care plans.Ìý

  • Evaluate, implement, and modify medical esthetics treatment plans and procedures by accounting for contraindications.Ìý

  • Develop and deliver treatment and care plans to meet the needs and goals of the client.Ìý

  • Evaluate and conduct a variety of medical esthetics procedures that support the health and wellbeing needs of clients from various cultures and ethnicities following correct practices and procedures.Ìý

  • Operate and maintain a range of specialized equipment and technology while performing medical esthetics treatments, according to the manufacturer’s specifications, direction, and legislative standards.Ìý

  • Use business principles to establish and maintain a sustainable medical esthetics nursing business.Ìý

  • Develop informed consents and pre-post plan of care treatment documents for medical esthetics procedures using appropriate medical terminology in accordance with ethical guidelines and professional protocols.Ìý

  • Utilize a range of esthetics and cosmeceutical products within a medical practice to achieve the desired dermatological condition.
