Program of Study

Part-time Program Progression

The part-time study option allows you to complete the Practical Nursing program in an extended duration of approximately three years and eight months. To graduate within this timeframe, it is recommended that students be enrolled in courses each semester. Students who fail to complete the part-time program within a four-year time frame may be required to repeat vocational-specific courses already obtained to graduate.

Modules

This part-time study option is grouped into modules, which are structured sets of courses that must be completed before progressing to the next level of courses. Modules do not follow a defined semester schedule. They are flexible and progression-based, allowing you to move forward at your own pace as long as prerequisites are met.ÌýAll courses within a module must be completed before progressing to the next module.

Clinicals

Students must not have a gap of greater than 12 months between clinical placements, otherwise it may be necessary to repeat the clinical prior to the last one completed.
