This two-year diploma programÌýis designed to provide aÌýsolidÌýfoundationÌýof the skills and knowledge required to work in the corporateÌýtravelÌýbusiness, leisure, or cruise travel sectors. In this program, you willÌýunderstandÌýtheÌýtourism industry as a businessÌýwith an emphasisÌýon developing a service-driven attitude and honing business skills in marketing, sales and customer relations.
You will also acquireÌýknowledgeÌýinÌýnegotiation, risk management,ÌýlearnÌýindustry specific global distribution systems,Ìýdiscover local andÌýinternational tourism destinations and geography.
In semester two of the program, you can continue your studies in theÌýTourism ServicesÌýconcentrationÌýor switch toÌýtheÌýTourism –Services ManagementÌý-ÌýGlobal Tourism BusinessÌýconcentration.ÌýÌýSwitching is seamlessÌýwith a common first semester in both programs.
Graduates of Tourism – Services Management – Travel Services Specialization (TIS) with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher have an advanced entry pathway towardÌýHonours Bachelor of Commerce – Business Management (BBM).
