Lindsey Rosenow

Lindsey Rosenow

Design I: Composition & Creativity, Drawing I

My name is Lindsey, and I have been creating and teaching art throughout the city of Toronto for the last eight years.

My personal interest in art stems from a love of traditional animation and strong storytelling. I always have at least one sketchbook and a pencil on hand as I am constantly studying the emotions and energy of real people and animals. You can frequently find me drawing or painting in a sketchbook while travelling on the TTC or at some of my other favorite locations in our city, the Royal Ontario Museum and Toronto Zoo.

To date, my teaching career has been primarily focused on working with students on skills necessary for successful careers in drawing for animation and illustration. Majority of my classes explore drawing and design fundamentals, how to accurately study light and shade, composition, perspective, and figurative drawing.
