Canada Summer Jobs is a program under the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy. The program aims to provide flexible and holistic services to help all young Canadians develop their skills and gain paid work experience to successfully transition into the labour market.

The program providesÌýwage subsidies to employersÌýfromÌýnot-for-profit organizations,Ìýthe public sector andÌýprivate sector organizations with 50 or fewer full-time employees to create quality summer work experiences forÌýyoung people aged 15 to 30 years.

• Non-profit employersÌýmay be able to receive funding for up to 100 per cent of the provincial or territorial adult minimum hourly wage and all associated Mandatory Employment Related Costs (MERCs)
• Public and private sector employers may be eligible to receive funding for up to 50 per cent of the provincial or territorial minimum hourly wage. Public or private sector employers are not eligible to receive reimbursement for MERCs

°Õ³ó±ðÌýÌýprogram is a federal tax incentive program designed to encourage Canadian businesses to conduct research and development in Canada. Eligible companies may deduct SR&ED expenditures from their income for tax purposes and receive a SR&ED investment tax credit. A Canadian-controlled private corporation may be eligible to earn a refundable ITC ofÌý35 per centÌýon qualified expenditures, up to a maximum ofÌý$3 million.

Ìýfocuses on attracting the next generation of talent by uncovering the diverse, innovative nature of financial services for students and supporting them to access opportunities in this sector. Though ASPIRE does not offer wage subsidies, it does provide resources to assist employers and students.ÌýÌý

Ìýis an innovative program created by the United Nations Association in Canada to launch the careers of underemployed Canadian youth. It is open to recent postsecondary graduates aged 18 to 30 at the time of intake who are eligible to work in STEM fields. Successful candidates will gain valuable professional experience from full-time, six-month work-integrated learning internships with employer partners across Canada. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
